About Us
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek-letter Fraternity known among women, founded in 1870 at Depauw University. Four years later the 3rd chapter was installed at Butler University-Gamma Chapter. (That's us!) We've been at Butler for 145 years! Here at Theta we take pride in being Leading Women in our community and on campus, whether that is in the classroom, service events, or in campus organizations. We hold our values close to our heart and our sisters even closer.
THINGS TO KNOW
Here at Kappa Alpha Theta, we want to be as transparent as possible. Sororities can be confusing and at some times, scary, but they shouldn't be! We want to help with any questions you may have as you are beginning to learn about Greek Life at Butler.
